Art samples

These are our kea paintings. We used photo models as examples, sketched them in pencil, and then blended our paint. These paintings were done with the tips of our fingers! I was impressed with the attention to detail paid by Ruma Kea to their finished work.

Living Springs Camp 2015

We made it!  We've had a busy few days at Living Springs enjoying the range of activities.

We tried archery and air rifles, bouldering and bushwalking, problem solving, riding the monorail, crazy golf, the flying fox, BMX and Balanz bikes, and experiencing the animals at the farm park.

Camping in tents was a great experience, even though it rained a bit on the first night.  Burnham kids are tough and I never heard any complaints about the weather.

The food was good, and we enjoyed the baking supplied as well.  Thank you.

Mufti Day

Hello everyone

This Thursday there is a Mufti Day to support Oxfam.  Please bring a gold coin donation and wear your coolest outfit!

In maths this week we are practising speed with our doubles - and wow, are we getting fast!  Feel free to test us when you're out and about.

We have our iPads back in class now so the children will be adding to their blogs.  Please check them for new learning over the coming weeks.
