Soap Carving
This week we have been learning about adding depth into our art, how to manipulate soap to give carvings a 3D appearance. We have had fun trying out different tools to carve with, settling on using skewers for our final product. Check out some of our designs.

Kiwiana Flashmob
Mrs. Keenan was playing some very old music over the speakers this week, so Room 7 & 8 decided to show her how it was really done! We sung the chorus of three songs, Ten Guitars, Gumboots and Alice. We managed to sneak into the office without her hearing us until we started singing.
Room 8's Swimming Star....Sophie
On Monday the 10th of March Sophie attended the zone swimming competition. This is one of the videos taken of her amazing swimming. She placed first in freestyle and third in breast stroke.
